I was in Crystal River, Florida at Crystal River Primary school. I was about to take my class on a walking field trip to the public library. It was a beautiful day. As we were leaving the school their was a rumor of the Twin Towers being hit by airplane. At first the office did not want us to leave campus. They reconsider and we continued. When we returned the campus use was in lock down. Parents were flooding the school school trying to get there kids from school. As an elementary teacher we could not get information on TV or over the intercom because it would scar the kids. So we carried on with school as normal as possible. I was anxious to get home and find out exactly what was going on.Of course I was devastated I had no idea how this would affect how we live .
