I was only a kid; 6 or so. I was watching t.v. when suddenly the cartoon i was watching cut off. The t.v. flashed black, white and gray before i saw ash and flame erupt violently from one of the two towers. Being a kid, i didn’t even know what had happened.

As I began to take a sip from my glass of water, I counted my blessings. Never take anything in this life for granted, not even something as simple and as pure as the water you drink. You never know when you won’t have that luxury ever again.
