We were freshmen in highschool when our principle told us to turn on the tv’s. We turned them on after the first plane crashed into the wtc. After watching for a little bit we wathced as the second plane had hit the wtc. He then came over the intercom and said teachers please turn off your tv’s. He thought it would be a learning experience to watch history in the making. He thought wrong. Then about 10 min later a student was dismissed from our class, we later found out her uncle was on the plane from boston. A few days later we learned one of the pilots was from our rival school. I will never forget sitting in freshman science 2nd period watching everything unfold right in front of our eyes and when we heard it was a plane from boston we were soon dismissed from school. I am now in the military and all i can think is “the cowards way of fighting” God bless The USA
