I had just arrived to school, and my friend, Linda, came up to me and said “did you hear, a plane just crashed into the world trade center.” At first, my response was “okay?” I was in disbelief. I thought she was referring to a small helicopter. Then I went to my class, and we watched the footage on TV. I couldn’t believe my eyes.

I felt cold inside. And like Columbine, I started tearing up. I still tear up when I watch the footage on TV.
