I was sitting quietly at my desk, working on a project when I heard my teacher tell a student about 2 kamikaze pilots flying into the world trade centers. Being honest, I didn’t what the World Trade Center was. About 10 minutes later we went down to the library and my teacher flicked on the TV. After a couple of minutes of watching the unstable second tower it finally fell. I turned around and looked at my classmates only to realise that I was the only one watching. They were all brainlessly blabbering their ignorant mouths about their blissful, unrealistic lives, not realising that what was going on is something that will effect the world forever. Was I the only one that realized that thousands died when those bulidings collapsed? I will never forget staring at that TV, sitting on an unsturdy wooden chair, all by myself.
