It was my 3rd year in highschool. I had just woken up when my older brother came rushing into my room with the news. As I went into my living room, I saw the horrid scenes and ran to wake my parents. We sat glued to the t.v and saw the second plane hit. All of us cried at the sight of the towers falling and knew that our lives would never be the same. We were right…a day later my older brother decided to leave his computer drafting job to join the army. “I can’t just stand around and do nothing,” was what he told me. He is now overseas serving in Iraq. May God Bless our Troops,Those who lost their lives, Their families,Our President, and The United States Of America.
