On Sept. 11, 2001, I was in class from 8:30 to 9:30. After class me and my buddy Matt were riding to his house to study and do some homework. On the radio (though we didnt know what it was) we were hearing the news of the tragedy. At first we thought it was just news, so we tried to change the station. We found out however, that this news was on every station on the radio. Then we started listening to what was being said. We heard something about planes and the WTC. We didnt know what to think, then they said that the WTC tower collapsed and we were like “what is going on here”, we were not sure at all. Our fears were made real when we made it to Matt’s house. His mom had been watching the events unfold and she was crying. Then on T.V. we caught the first glimpses of what we had heard. We saw two planes crashing into the WTC Towers and also the plane crashing into the Pentagon and the one go down in Pennsylvania. The events of 9/11 were horrifying….
