I was home with my baby, trying to finish plans for my husband’s 39th birthday. You see 9/11 is his and his twins birthday, as well as my neice’s. My husband is a firefighter/first responder also. I watched in disbelief at the news coverage. I couldn’t imagine anything so horrific happening anywhere in the world. My prayers where with the rescue efforts and my hopes for the people to be found. As the wife of a firefighter and the mother of 5, I can only pray that no one ever suffers this kind of tragedy again. I continue to pray for the families of all those lost on 9/11 in the towers, on the planes and in the pentagon. This is one tragedy that will live in our hearts forever. God bless the families of those lost. May our military personal be safe and come home soon.
