I left school after my test and was on my way home. I had the radio on and I stopped to get something to eat. Then the announcement came over the radio. I darted home barrelled through the door screaming. My parents flew out of their bed. I was so freaked out I couldn’t talk. I turned on the TV and we sat there watching it unfold. When we saw that the pain and grief was unreal. We got to my grandpas place and picked him up so he was not alone. He told me he lived through WW2 and Korea and never felt anything like this since Pearl Harbor. This didn’t need to happen to anyone. I pray for all the souls taken too soon.
