I was at work, listening to a regionally popular op/ed/comic/talk radio duo with my 7 co-workers. After the two radio personalities reported that a plane had crashed into one of the Twin Towers, we all thought, “How on Earth could that have happened?” Then when another plane crashed into the Pentagon, we all knew there was something terribly wrong. Our boss sent us all home and asked that we connect with loved ones and we complied. And we all watched the devastation of 9/11 unfold – separately and together; and with the rest of the nation.
