There is not much I remember on that day, other then the attacks themselves and nightmares that came after realizing what occurred on the day.In the early morning, we were just about to begin class, a another teacher came to the door crying. The class was very confused and was wondering what happened. We were surprised to when told school was ending early. Everyone’s parents came to the school to take their kids home.
When i got home to see the news on T.V, I saw replays of the first hit on the towers. Being only 6 years old at the time, I wasn’t very concerned at the time. After a day or two i fully grasped the idea that there were people to do such heinous acts i began having dream which resulted in people come in my house to kill my family and then developing a fear of hearing planes fly over my house as i was in my 19 floor apartment. I have since gotten over this fear once airport security was improved to stop events like this.
