On 9/11 we were in the small village of Sarlat, France, in the area where the movie “Chocolate” was filmed. Our tour group quickly gathered in one hotel room to view the unbelievable, horrific scenes reflected on CNN. The French people were in their churches praying for our country and all Americans. A patron in a restaurant who was sitting with a large group brought a note to our table, written in French, telling us how very sorry they were for what was occurring in the U.S. It was heartwarming to feel the deep concern they had for a group of American tourists.
