Hi, my name is Adele. My birthday is 9-11-47. I was having a cup of coffee and flipped on the tv right when the first plane hit. What the heck was going on? I am a retired doctor and author of several books. My husband was editing one of my books to go to publisher when I called him to the tv… unreal! My son, Ben is the A.Capt of the Staten Island Ferry and was on the boat when it happened with his camera and then went down that night to volunteer on the bucket brigade. He got hundreds of photos. What a birthday I had that day! Horrible with eyes bulging out all day! Happy Birthday to me! Well, I got the idea to reach out on the internet since I have a publisher for my other books and do a book, by the people, for the people and it will go out as a ‘legacy’ to our future children. It will be out this Sept. 11 2002 called 9-11 Remembered.
