I was a home school student just in 3rd grade. My mom came down stairs crying after getting off the phone with my Grandma. We’re being attacked she told me and my sisters. We sat in silence watching the tv. I looked out the window scared that our house would be next. I didn’t understand what was happening, I didn’t not know what a terrorist was, I just knew the fear that bad people were attacking my country. I will never forget that day. And the weeks of news after that.
