On Tuesday Septmber 11, 2001,I was 8 years old attending Owen Elementry School in Fayetteville, North Carolina. School went pretty normal for me, it was like any ordinary day until when I came home from school on the bus.My mom picked me up from the bus stop, as we were heading home, she told me we were under attack.When I heard that I couldn’t believe what I it.When we got home my mom wouldn’t let me go out and get the mail fearing what happened. When we got inside I saw on the news the Twin Towers on fire,Isaw people covered in dust, it took me a long time to understand what truly went on that day.I couldn’t believe while I was having a normal day at school,these attacks were going on in New York and Washington,I will never forget that.
