It was the start of the new school year, I was a 14 and a freshman at Escondido High.
I did not actually saw the horror of that dark morning that was creeping slowly unto us as a nation.

School was normal that Tuesday morning before we heard the horrendous news. Our principal said thru the P.A that two planes struck the world trade center, and the whole class was in disbelief; then after that, we were called to the green top and I couldn’t believe what i was seeing, everyone was there and we gave a moment of silence to the victims of 9/11

That scene is what I remember most of my high school years, i will never forget that Tuesday morning and that scene that occurred at the green top.
