We had just come into second period class which was physics. The teacher was sitting at his desk with his laptop. We talked on normally and he muttered out “twin towers hit by two planes” (or something like that). Everyone was silent for a moment. I remember hearing someone say “yeah, WTC was attacked” and I said “That didn’t happen don’t worry”. The rest of the day, all we talked about was the attacks. At lunch every single person was talking about what had happened and an incoming nuclear war and all that stuff. I was really scared at one moment and thought “It’s all over now” (I’m sure I wasn’t the only one). After I went home, the news was on my television the rest of the day and night. I can remember everything I did after learning of what happened. It will be etched in my memory for the rest of my life.

One final note: Think about this people. We are a species, just living on the earth, trying to find our way through life. Just think of that and try to explain why we have to hate each other. We are just a species.
