I was prepping new cars at a local car dealership the morning the morning this tradegy happened. I was coming back from the parking lot when I passed by the tv in the customer waiting area. It showed a sky scraper on fire, but at that point I wasn’t sure which one it was, or even if it was in the United States. I decided to watch the tv for a few minutes to see if I could find out where this was. As I was watching, thats when I saw it, the second plane hitting the second tower live on tv. Thats when I knew we were under attack. It was eerie that day, no one came in to buy a car, no planes flying overhead, and no music on the radios. All you heard that day was updates, almost every minute, of what was going on in New York City. I learned a couple days later that a family friend had been at the towers that day. Had it not been for a unknown person making him late for his meeting in the tower, we would have lost him like so many people have lost their loved ones.
