I was in my Social Studies class in school when this happened. We had no idea what was going on until another teacher came in and told us. We turned on the TV and watched the news while the planes crashed. We were all very worried and sad. I was very worried because my sister works a few blocks away from the Pentagon in Washington D.C. My dad came into the school telling me that she was ok and that she was being evacuated from the area as soon as possible. All day there was a difference. In almost every classroom you could see TVs on watching what was happening. Everything that occured was frightening and sad. The only positive part about what has happened is that it has brought all Americans closer together. A year goes by and everyone is still remembering what has happened. People still talk about it as though it happened five minutes ago and everyone is still as close as ever. Flags are still hanging everywhere.
