I was getting ready for work that morning and could not believe what I was seeing on the news.

The planes going into the buildings, the devastation, it was unbelievable. I could not leave the TV even for a minute, it was so terrible. Even today as I write this tears come to my eyes,just remembering all that I saw and heard.

My prayers still go to the families who lost loved ones, and to the fireman,perimedics, police and everyone else that was there to help.

This tragedy just proves that we can live together, and work together no matter our race, creed, or color. We just need to remember this and strive to live in peace and harmony, and to help each other everyday not just at a time such as 9/11.
