I remember I was in 9th grade science class, after the first plane hit. The teacher turned up the TV volume and I glanced over and saw smoke coming from a tall building. He stopped teaching. I had no idea what the WTC was and didn’t really care what was happening. Some kids parents signed their kids out of school. At the time, I thought it was just an accident, but after I got home replaying on the news the 2nd crash and then the towers falling…scary.
