I was at college at the time of the attacks. Quietly listening to the radio on my walkman in art class. Then, an important news report came on, they announced the atrocities and then went straight back to the music. It took a while to sink in, then the news reports came thick and fast. Every minute something new was happening. Death. Explosions. Speculation. It didn’t really hit me until i got home. Every channel here (England) had news on. This was about 4 hours after it happened, and went on into the night. I just want to say, on a whole, how well I think your country has dealt with the grief and the weight on your shoulders. You are a strong nation.
