I was in my ROTC class we were doing a work sheet. We were all smiling playing jokes on each other just messing around. When all of a sudden Sgt Mrg Green came running in slamming open the door. He kept looking for the remote to the T.V. no one could understand what was going on and finally he found it and turned on the news. From there we watched the 1st tower burning and all I could think was what happen. Who would do somthing like that. What about all those people. Then my thoughts went to my grandma I new she was flying back from canada and was supose to have a change of flights. At the same place that the two planes that hit the two towers took off from. My uncle for seveal years lived In N.Y. and worked in the World Trade Towers. But thankfully they moved back home. However both him and my aunt lost a lot of friends. My aunts sister called in sick that day. Frist time she ever called in to work.
That day all I felt was anger at the people who did this, saddness for all the 1000’s of lives I new were in there even the one’s that weren’t found, and Proud to be an American proud that that day more people come togeather to help and save lives then all I have read and seen. The love for my country will never be the same it is just going to grow and never DIE. And I hope and Pray to god yours won’t eather
