Started off as a typical school day but during History class I heard the horrible news. A classmate comes in and tells my History teacher “The World Trade Center or something like that was hit by a plane.” My teacher rushed to his computer and pulled up CNN. We knew by the look on his face something awful happened. He looked up and said, “Kids ya’ll are now living history. Two planes just crashed into two very important buildings in New York City. America seems to be under attack, but don’t be scared for we are a strong and united Nation. Please bow your heads for pray is what America needs right now.” I will never forget the feeling that overwhelmed my heart while watching the news coverage. I still can’t wrap my mind around the events that occurred on that early September morning and I do not think I will ever be able to.

9/11/2001 Will always hold a very special place in my heart and in the rest of America’s as well.
