Everytime I think of that day, I just think WOW!! Never in my life did I ever think that something so horrible could ever happen. What brings people to the mindset of planning something so devastating.

I was sleeping, just got home from work, catching a few zzzzzzs before class. When the phone rang, it was my friend telling me to turn on the television. I did and saw the images that I thought would only happen in the movies. I can still see those people running down the street, jumping from the windows, everything and everyone covered in dust. The destruction still takes my breath away. I was taking a diverstiy class in school, and this was the topic for the rest of the semester.

I just think have we, as a people, bettered ourselves. The days after 9-11 we saw each others as Americans, not black, white or different. On that day the terrorists did not see black/white, they just saw the generations they would affect.
