This is what I remember from Sept 11th: I was taking care of triplets with a nurse in a family home. My first job. All of a sudden the news: An airplane has crashed against one of the New York towers. While we were still trying to decipher what kind of freaky accident this was, another airplane crashed against the second tower. This time the nurse and me almost at the same time said: Oh my Gosh! And then she added, this is not an accident, this is a direct attack, a terrorist attack! From the on we continued taking care of the babies while we were glued to the TV! We didn’t care about eating or going anywhere, we watched TV all day long! This event was certainly a turning point in everybody’s lives. It made us realize how fast our lives can be over and how important is to think about the ones we love the most and show them our love daily. My heart and prayers go to everybody affected by this tragic event!
