It was some after 7 am in Bakersfield California where I am from. I woke up to get ready to go to work and I went to my computer to check my email and noticed I had a CNN News Alert email. So I clicked on it and read it and was like Oh my God this must be some kind of joke. I turned on the television and turned to CNN and saw the first tower burning.I ran to the other side of the house. My mom was on the computer and my dad was just coming out of the bathroom. I was shaking and nervous and could barely talk. I told them that the World Trade Center was on fire and that a plane had crashed into it. They were all like yeah right what movie are you watching. I was like Im not watching a movie give me the control and I turned it on. We sat there in stunned silence and watched it burn and than we saw the second place crash into the wtc #2. we couldn’t believe it. I ended up going to work and we had plugged in a tv and every few moments everyone was running to the tv. Everyone at work was upset and in a weird mood. My mom remembers where she was when JFK was killed and I will always remember where I was and who I was with when this happened. I am still scared of what could happen and do not sleep well at night anymore.
