Note from WhereWereYouOn911.com:
It is unfortunate that the events of 9/11 often times bring out anger and hatred, often initiated and amplified by our lack of exposure to other cultures. In light of the post below we have to add that the feelings are solely an expression of the writer’s view, and in no way represent the views of WhereWereYouOn911.com staff.

My mother was a cosmotoligist at the time of 9/11. I was a month away from one years old. My family and I were living in Logan, UT. 9/11 was such a tragic event and very sad to hear about.
It was a beautiful fall morning. My mother was driving my older sister to preschool when it all happened. She turned on the radio and heard about this tragic event. I was in the car with her not knowing what was going on. My mother was shocked that someone would do such harm. It was a very sad rest of the day sitting on the couch watching the news.
She doesn’t know anyone who perished. 9/11 only really effected when we traveled. When we traveled there was a lot more security that we have to go through. Her view of Muslims changed very much. She thought a lot less of them for what they did. Security is much better now and the world is much more safe. There is less terrorism because there is more security. She is hopeful for the future that there won’t be anymore tragic events.
