I was in 5th grade on the day of September 11th, 2001. My teacher was showing our class a video on the Native Americans when I found out that my mom was here to take me home. The principal had called my teacher. My mom told me that our country is under terrorist attacks and she wanted me home. Fortunately, she got me home in time before a lot of other people did (school was dismissed for everyone). We went to the grocery store and I saw no planes in the sky, knowing that it was very serious. Then when we got home, I watched the news on CNN in shock and asking myself: Why? Why would this happen.
