I remember this day as a normal day. I was 11 years old and in the 6th grade (1st year of middle school ) I was in my social studies class when my principal got on the intercom and told everyone to turn off their TVs even though we just have it on the school channel telling us what’s for lunch that day. Confusing students trying to find out what’s going on teachers telling us to back up from the windows because they had on the TV and did not want us to see inside. My mother tried to call the school trying to find out if my aunt was on my emergency card, because my mother took me my sister and my 2 brothers out of school. So my aunt Linda took me my sister and my 2 brothers back to her house until my mother got off work. Because my grandparents were not in the state of Florida they were in Missouri. A few days later my church had a service about what happened on that day.
