As most people probably know it was the middle of the night in Australia when the unimaginable happened.

Waking up for school the next morning seemed like the beginning of just another day. As it turns out it wasn’t. When my alarm clock woke me up in the morning i can remember hearing something about the notorious twin towers and planes. I wasn’t completely awake so i didn’t think anything of it.

When i arrived at school and found out what happened, i can’t describe the feeling that went through my body. I immediately thought of my relatives living in New Jersey who visit New York quite frequently. I immediately emailed them to make sure that they were alright. As it turns out they saw the incident from there back yard and my cousin being the person that he is headed straight to the site to help out however possible. I would have done the same thing had i been in his position.

After coming home from school which seemed to drag on forever i remember not sleeping that night as i was watching CNN all night. To this day i cannot completely come to terms with it and still find it hard to believe.
