I had a class starting at 805 in the business building and everything went along as always in there. I went down the stairs to see everyone huddled around what I thought was at first someone speaking about something. Then I saw they were all looking at the TV which normally shows the financial networks. I looked and saw the skyline of NYC minus a tower. My heart sank. I rushed to my next class calling my mom on the way. The TA for my next class didn’t show up so I went back to the TV. I suddenly didn’t feel safe. I went home and watched the news the next four days. I received many emails from my friends abroad expressing that they were standing us as Americans. And for myself, even though I had never been crazy about New York I can full heartedly say that I stand with all the other New Yorkers.
