I left the house at 8:30. I was on my way to work listening to my favorite morning show, they were in a middle of doing a bit when all of a sudden they were interupted by a their news source. Their source said that a plane hit the 1 World Trade Center so I thought wow..I thought it was an accident. I was at work early because we had 2 closings that day. So I was preparing for the closings. I recieved a call from my husband telling me that a plane hit the world trade center and I told him I already heard it on the radio….He asked me if I heard about a second plane hit the other building…I was in shock I knew a plane hit the first building but I didn’t know about a second plane hit the other building….

I knew my boss had a small television in his office and he wasn’t there so I turned it on and I couldn’t beleive what I was seeing and then my boss came in the office. He didn’t know why I had the television on…I quess his radio didn’t work or he had his CD Player on. Then I showed him he couldn’t believe it either. It went on for a couple of minutes and we thought it was over with so I went back to work. I recieved another call from my husband and he told me about the pentigon and one of the twin towers collaspe. This time my boss gave me permission to put the little TV at my desk. The two closings that was going to take place had cancelled. So for the rest of the day we both were glued on the television. When I left from work….I was still in shock… Why was this happening?…Who could have done this? I had to go to school that night. Our school must be the only one open that night because we had exams that we had to do…I looked at everyone’s faces and I knew we would all still in shock, but we did our test and we stayed long enough to hear what the president had to say. That night I felt uneasy, like I didn’t feel safe anymore. But my husband was there to comfort me and I relax a little. I felt terrible of all the lives that was lost that unforgiving day. I prayed for the families that had lost their loved ones and I hope they would catch the person responsible for this terrible act.
