In my second grade class we have been taking a type of test the read the level of reading you where on. When it was my turn to take the test a teacher came in and said that we may need to evacuate to school so that everyone can go home I had only live a half hour from Shanksville p.a. and all I can remember thinking is why are nice people dying. my teacher had stopped my test and stood up and said to everyone “well today class is going to be a day in history please be carful when you are going home” later I watched the twin towers come crashing down in the safety of my living room with my baby sister and both my parents and looking at their faces with such sock. I had always thought one day I’m going to wake up and this had never happened… well I never forgot. when I was in middle school I had the chance to see the place where the plane crash in Shanksville p.a. and when I stepped off the bus I could be anymore chilled to my bones, but those people fought and I have a uncle who I’m proud to call mine for serving us and an older cousin that is now serving, and my brave cousin who married an man who fought alone with my hero my uncle… as I tear up all I can say to those families, men , and women serving us thank you I owe you my life!
