on 9/11/01 I was returning from my summer home in Alberta, Canada.I got up and turned CBC public radio and nothing was mentioned about the N.Y.tradegy,we packed up and left for California,I turned on country station CKRY and the never said a word either.I stopped for breakfast in Vulcan, Alberta and nothing was said until I went to the restroom before continuing the trip and a guy ask me what I thought about the attack on the world trade center,and I said I knew nothing about it,I returned to the pickup and found a station that had more info.after passing through Lethbridge, Alberta there were no vehicles on the road going to the boarder at Sweetgrass, Montana,so we did’nt know whether we would get into the U.S. or not.when we arrived at the boarder we were the only ones going to the states,they ask for a photo I.D.,we showed our passports and went on to Missoula, Montana before we stopped for the night and saw the whole thing on T.V.

It is scarry to be out of your own country when something like this happens.
