As the day that marks a year since 9-11-01 I still get tears in my eyes when I think about that awful day. I look around as I am driving to work or to the store and think, “What happened to the patriotism in this country?” When it first happened, we were all hard core patriotic, but now we are lucky to still see a flag on a car. That makes me sad. Now we are fighting about a few words in the pledge. Is it not enough that we are being harrassed from outside people that jerks in the country have to patronize us as well???

I have not forgotten, and I never will. Those images still give me nightmares.
