I was in Logan, Utah when 9/11 happened. I knew one of the people that perished in the event. He was a friend of mine I went to college with. He was in one of the towers. I had just dropped my kids off at preschool and the daycare at the gym when I found out about the terrorist act. I was with myself, and My son Eric was at daycare. I was confused and didn’t know what was going on. I went about my usaul business until mid-morning, when I started making my usual phone calls to family and realized the seriousness of the situation. Thats when I found out about the other two planes that went down. 9/11 changed my life. I worried about dropping my kids of at daycare, I worried about my dad flying, and I worried about myself flying. I dont view Muslims as bad people. Luckly, I have some Muslim friends, so I knew terrorists were crazy extremists. I’m glad now that security has gotten better for planes. It’s a lot harder now for a terrorist to take over a plane now. That is my 9/11 story.
