I was about 9 years old when this had happened. My story is unique becase for that one year I was being home schooled by my mom. At that time I was watching T.V. taking a break form my penmanship. I see on T.V. on NBC Matt Lauer says that there is tragic news taht they would tell after the comercial break. My mom and i were glued to the T.V.. At this point in time the first plane had hit and they were showing us the video. Then later as we know the other plane hit. My mom was just speachles.

Little did we know what my dad did. His little sister(My Aunt) said that she would be in newyork right next to the towers. when my dad heard the news he emediately came home and was calling his sister constantly. he could not get an answer. My dad was thinking that he had lost his little sister. The amazing thing is that exact day she was going t be right next to the twin towers she got sick and could not go.

Never in my life have i ever seen my dad cry so much ever. We all realized how lucky and blessed we realy were. It is just simply gods grace. I am now 16 and i will never forget that day. That day helped me realize that we are all MORTAL and we cant live forever. Make the most of your life becasue my aunt is lucky to have hers.
