I was stranded at work in D.C. at a law firm where I worked. No subways were running and all bridges were closed to incoming traffic.

We could see the smoke from the Pentagon. Initially we were told it was from the Capital.

After that I had to pass by where the Pentagon was hit every day on my way to work. What a sad and stark reminder.

It had been such a beautiful day. What a horrible tragedy for those in NY, at the Pentagon and in PA and their families and friends. God Bless Them All.
