I was sitting in my 5th grade history class…an announcement came on and said if you haven’t already teachers please tune your televisions to the news… and there it was in full color the twin towers falling… i was with my best friends… then the parents started calling and coming in to get thier kids.. everyone left..some kids couldnt handle it some were crying some were just in shock… i went looking for my mom and she was in the clinic at the school (shes the nurse) and i didnt leave that clinic for the rest of the day and so many kids were coming in and just sobbing and i wanted my mom to just hold me i was so scared.. and there was no other place i felt safer than right there in her arms and thats where i stayed in her arms…the following week there were so many absences and so many people were at teh counslers it was crazy and after the accident i think it changed our school alot of the bullying stopped and everyone got along… it bonded us like nothin else can… i will never forget that day…
