That fateful morning I had just dropped my daughter off at school. I was between jobs and stopped for a cup of coffee at my folks’ home. As I walked in, I saw the expressions on their faces as they watched Tower 1 in flames. They told me that a small plane had hit WTC’s North tower (an accident). As we watched together, we soon saw the second plane come from the right of the screen and hit WTC’s South tower. Immediately, we all thought of “terrorists”. Never in my 41 years did I ever think that I would see something like this. Something rivaling Pearl Harbor back in 1941. It still has a profound impact on me to this day. Probably always will. I will never forget where I was, who I was with and how I felt that horrible day.
