I was on my way to school on the bus with all my friends. The driver turned on the radio and we are always so loud you can’t hear the radio. So, while we were all getting off she told us and you could see the shock in our faces.
As I walked into school I saw that there was a TV on in the library and it was showing the pictures of the towers. I was scared when I saw them. I just remember thinking “Who would ever do something this horrible?”
All of my teachers had on their radios so we were all listening carefully. Then the principal came over the intercom saying that all teachers had to turn off their TV’s and radios. We were all really mad. We should have been informed of what was going on. I mean this is something I will remember for the rest of my life.
After school I did not get up off the couch once. I sat there and just watched everything. When my dad got home from work the president came on and told us everything. Then with more than enough questions my dad made me go to bed.I then gave my parents a hug and told them I loved them, before I went to bed, which i never do. In a way I think September 11th brought families closer.
