When I heard about the tragedy I was in my Social Studies class in school. My teacher got a phone call then he ran to the T.V. and put it on the news. It was about 9:00 or 9:15 when he started to explain what happened. He said that two planes had just flown into the World Trade Center. I was so upset because I had just thought of all of those lives that had been taken. I was in so much shock because we had taken field trips there every year for music class. We were still watching the news when all of a sudden the first tower collasped, then the second tower collasped. Every one in my class was speechless, including me. I had just wished that somebody could have done something on that plane to prevent this from happening. I will always remember September 11, 2001. In memory of those lives lost on 9-11-01.
