I was in social studies class when the tragedy struck. i remember another teacher running in, a panicked look on her face, telling or teacher to put the tv on. he did and i really didn’t think anything of it because he didn’t say anything. so i just went back to what i was doing (which wasnt very much).

Next was Math class, and she had the tv on also. everybody was asking why, and she told us that the Twin Towers had been hit by terrorists, with planes. i couldnt believe it. how could somebody do something so horrible? I sat there, tears streaming down my face, while everybody was freaking out. after the initial shock wore off, i freaked out to. when i got home that day, i hugged my mother and my stepfather and even my little sister, i was thankful they were there with me. we watched the news for the rest of the night, ans i never stopped praying for those who lost loved ones, and for survivors on 9/11/01.
