One September 11th 2001, I was 7 years old. I was too young to really grasp what had happened, the true significance. A successful terrorist attack on US soil. I didn’t know what a terrorist was, I couldn’t comprehend how many people had lost their lives.

When the towers fell, I would’ve been in school, though I don’t remember exactly. But I must’ve been in school. I didn’t know anyone in America, so no one I knew died or was directly affected. But I think that day affected us as a whole, everyone from every country. I think it shook us all. Some might’ve been happy, but most were scared and shocked and deeply saddened.
