It was the second class of the day and i was in social studies with the rest of my homeroom class. I was in 7th grade we were learning about something that happened a couple hundred years ago. All of a sudden my science teacher walked into the room with a worried look on her face. She told us to turn the Television on to the news channel. Just then the picture of a huge biulding with smoke coming out of it appeared. It was about five minutes after the first plane hit. At first i was not aware of what was going on. But then I realized what had happened.

My teachers were crying and all of our faces were glued to the tv. Nobody could really believe what was going on. Then the second plane hit. Soon after our teacher shut off the television and we were discussing what had just been seen. Since my classmates and i weren’t experts on world news, our social studies teacher was trying to explain to us what we saw. Soon after we had a moment of silence throughout the entire school. For the rest of the week we had a moment of silence during the very minutes that the buildings were hit. That day will always be remembered by me and anyone else I know. And the pictures of those planes hitting the building will be burned in my mind. How could anyone hurt and kill this many people and say it is in the name of God. It is hard for me to believe that this could be capable.
