On the morning of 09-11-01 I was getting home from walking my grandaughter to school. Before we left the house I let my Grandaughter watch cartoons on T.V. and had no idea what was happening in New York. When I got home from walking my Grandaughter to school I turned the T.V. to the local news channel to get my morning updates about the world. To my suprise I found out about the first plane crashing into the W.T.C. I thought what a horrific accident. When the second plane crashed into the Pentagon I thought this is no accident we are at war, but with who are we at war with? I started to get really scared because we live within 10 miles of two Military Bases and I had no idea of what was yet to come. When the Third Plane crashed into W.T.C. 2 I was in shock. About this time I decide to call the High School and find out if they knew about the status of the United States and if they had an action plan in place in case any thing further happened in our area. (they confirmed that they had a plan in place) After that the Fourth plane crashed in the field and I could not belive what I was seeing. When the towers fell My wife and I became so sad we started to cry for all the innocent people that lost their lives and all the Firefighters, Police and Rescue workers that had just rushed in to save other peoples lives. The rest of the morning and day are really foggy because all we did was watch T.V. and Pray for those Brave souls that lost the lives trying to save others. When My Kids got home from school I hugged them and all I could think about was how lucky we are to be alive. After that I really felt the unity of all the people in the United States and way we all came together to get through this Horrendous Act.

My Thoughts and Prayers go out to all the People who lost their loved ones and all the people who gave their lives to help out others after this act of Terrorism .
