It was a beautiful morning on Sept 11th a crystal clear day no clouds in the sky i was working for the NYC Dept of Sanitation on my way with my coworker to dump a truck in NJ i was telling him how nice and clear it was out side and on my way back from the dump coming back to NYC on 95 north we ran into all this massive traffic the traffic was creeping i got out my truck to ask someone did something happen the truck driver told me that two planes hit the WTC and knock them down, i looked at him like he was crazy saying to my self how could a plane knock down the WTC not thinking a huge passenger plane had hit the towers so i ask some one else and they told me the same thing i was in shock after that i got back in the truck and told my partner, we made it right to the George Washington Bridge and they had cops there with machine guns telling us to turn around no one is crossing the bridge and that we are under a state of emergency,we was stuck for 7 hours in NJ in Fortlee, i brought a walkman so i can hear the news it was real bad people was crying then about 5:30pm they let us go across the bridge we could see the black smoke coming from the WTC across the river, it was a day that i will never forget, God bless them all.
