On that day I was in college in Baltimore, MD. I had a class at 10:00. I was walking in the building around 9:15 or 9:30. All the TVs were tuned into the news. At first I did not know what was going on. As I continued to watch I could not believe my eyes. There were a few students that did not know the magnitude of what was happening. Some students were crying because they were from New York and had family there. The school informed everyone that they would be closing for the day and every one should go home. I tried to use my cell phone to call my mom, but all of the circuits were busy. I just wanted to get home. Baltimore also has a world trade center and people were not sure what was going to happen. After watching the news at home I found out that the Pentagon was hit and the White House was also a target. This was a sad day for America and my heart goes out to anyone who has lost someone in this devastating event.
