Another September morning. As any other school day I had to wake up at 6:00, got my makeup on, do my hair and attempt to pull my older brother out of bed before he throws a pillow at my head. So at 6:43 I ran up to the bus stop.

The day went on…boring as usual, learning algbra,French, and of course gym were we made fun of all the 6th graders running outside and us cool 9th graders got to stay inside and play kickball. Then I had to run across the school
to language arts. Well our teacher was absent and you know how bad kids can be when there teacher isn’t there. So of course we were acting up and all of a sudden the head princabil came on the loud speaker. Our class was being bad so we couldn’t hear all of the announcements. All we hard was fire, bombs, planes, twin towers, tragedy, nation we were so confused and we had a sense of panic. So we were all talking and trying to fit everything together and it didn’t make sense. So the bell rang for next period and there was more than usual chatting in the hall. No one knew what was going on. Then I walked into my next period, civic class and the news was on. I asked what my teacher what was going on and he told me that he would tell everyone once everyone comes in the room. So we all got quiet and he told us; we were so scared. And what scared us even more was the plane that had crashed in Summerset County right near us!

For the rest of the day we did nothing in the class rooms we just watched the t.v over and over seeing those helpless people run in fear. When the 2:11 bell rang to go home I jumped on the bus and when I walked in the door my mom was watching the T.V. She told my brother and I that she was going to pick us up but she didn’t want us to worry. Then all of a sudden the house kind of shook adnd we were like what the….. so we all went outside and so did a lot of our
neighbors. Jet planes were flying above us. I would say there had to have been about 6 planes throughout the day. That night I was going to go to my church and I thought it was going to be packed, so I didn’t go. That night I just prayed even more than I usually do; and then I went to sleep. And the next morning I woke up and what to seemed to not be such a normal day.
